Back in the 80's, I had a tank full of fish that I handfed. My Passer King angel and Moorish Idol would nibble off my fingers. My snowflake moray, smooth horn shark and Volitan lion would grab squid and smelts out of my fingers. It was cool but fairly time consuming & your fingers smelled like seafood With the shark, it would grab the squid and suck it back bit by bit, forcing me to eventually let go before it's teeth reached my fingers. I was young & foolish, so I wouldn't recommend doing this with possibly dangerous fish nowadays.

I have too many fish that I really like. Seahorses, angels, tangs seem to top my list.

Two fish species that are hard to keep but I really love are twin spot gobies and mandarin gobies.

It has to be "Moe"..the Blonde Naso Tang. He has a very like-able personality. Very laid back, relaxed...comes to see you whenever you are near the tank...never mean to any other fish in the tank. He's also absolutely flawless and has the biggest eyes....

Hmm...he's really grown. Time for a updated photo!

They don't have the greatest colors, or shape for that matter. But what personality. The lowely lawnmower blennie takes first prize in my tank.

agreed. I wish I had a covered tank, then a lawnmower blenny would be the first fish I put in my system improgress

My favorite for personality was a vlamingi tang I had, but my favorite for color is a female bellus angel (I finally found a healthy one - pick him up on Sunday )

I like takifugu ocellatus. Unfortunately...he jumped out of the tank. Got spooked by something.

I am also a big fan of the lawnmower blennie. Look like a Chinese dragon and cool to watch gumming the rockwork. I had a juvie spotted sweetlips that had tons of personality - it seemed to study me more than me/him.

I found this thread while searching for a fish so I'm going to resurrect it from the dead

My Powder Blue tang, Purple Tang and Borbonius anthias are my three favourite fish in my current tank. I would consider them my "show fish".
