Hey Steve, I found some new stuff that I'm going to go with for now. I may bug you later on if I need to supplement it. Thanks for responding

Default question

Please excuse my ignorance, but what is sugar sand? I'll be going to the cost this summer and am thinking of collecting some specimens for my tank, mostly reef janitors and sand. Is thins a good idea or will they be too dfferent to be compatable? If it is possilble can you tell me where a good place is to find crabs, snails, etc?

Sugar sand is sand with grains comparable to sugar, really fine grade, kind of thing.

Our coastal waters are quite temperate (i.e. "cold") and none of the creatures will really survive at tropical reef temperatures. Unfortunately ...
