Default I got a fevah!

LOL I've been in this hobby almost 12 years now and still, I want. I see, I know I shouldn't have, I know I don't have room, but I still want...badly. I try to resist. I think about it all day, the wanting that is. Sometimes it goes on for days as I try to resist. Sometimes I am successful with the resisting. Sometimes I don't even think about resisting, I just give in right away to the want. This sometimes poses a problem as I have three full frag racks I haven't been able to get out of my tank for 2 years because of the want. They are full of saleable frags for the next swap and at least 5 that are waiting to be mounted, but I don't have much room. Two of the frag racks have permanent members on them because the corals have actually grown over the frag racks and I don't have the heart to remove them and they're doing so well! (I've already placed frags of them on the rock in the tank).

I think I have a problem, but then I think I'm in good company here

lol Christy. I found a temporary cure for this fevah. It involved getting rid of my tank. Now I see and want but got nowhere to put it so...

Of course once I do setup another tank I gots a lot of fevah to make up for.

You could do what I did and clean out the tank and start again

+1. Not that I've seen you house or tank, but it sounds like you need to upgrade!!

Marie might be onto something too though. If you clear out the tank, let me know!! I'll come there to... uh... help! ;-)

I know! I plan to replace the tank I have currently as its ridiculously scratched. I was thinking of adding a foot on but making it 30" instead of the current 24" "depth" (not height). I may have to win the lottery or use the kids college fund for that though

LOL, well I have been removing various corals to make way for other corals but I find they don't do as well with a large colony hovering over a little frag. Its tempting to clear things out and start again but I've done it too many times and frankly its mentally exhausting to even think about it. I'd like to have a mature looking tank for awhile yet

You know Christy if you have power heads in your tank . You could mount SPS to them. When they grow in they hide the power head quite well. Just makes them hard to clean. Or you could just build bigger frag racks.
