I picked up some salt (although not any kind of amaaaaaazing deal… but I needed it anyway), a pompom crab, coral beauty, and some new bulbs. Oh, and a beautiful rock that looks like an ice cube in my tank (the first thing my kids said when they came home was "you put an ice cube in the tank? Ha ha).

I was hoping for a few more things, but the sales weren't amazing and I wasn't sure how much I really wanted to spend.

I didn't think about boxing day sales until it was too late. I worked a good 16 hour day, and I'm still at work! Yeesh, my brain hurts.

i feel your pain. really. 10 years working in a fish store, 7 years on clownfish farms... i'm pretty sure I have the beginnings of carpel tunnel from that stint. Sure was a fun time though.

Just got word yesterday my good friend Anthony [Sea_Horse Fanatic] picked me up a long nose hawk fish from one of his 2 trips to J&L.
Thanks Bud!

I didn't buy it boxing day but I never saw a better price on it after I bought it so I'm happy...

I picked up a Canon EOS 70D w/ EF-S 28-135mm IS lens.

I wasn't in town on boxing day so no fish stuff.. except a dead MP10 when I got home from holiday.

Well I ordered a bunch of things from J&L on Boxing Day and got a phone call yesterday informing me that they ran out of the two items that were most important to me and I may have to wait "a couple weeks or so" before they ship. That ****es me off for sure...

1) Achilles Tang
2) Great sale on Canon 70D with two lenses, case and card so I just had to buy it.
3) Spectra Pure Reactor - came damaged, just waiting on the potential solution
4) The Flipper - It is simply amazing.
