Just to play devil's advocate here it's worthwhile thinking that maybe he had something going on in his life to make him act that way. No one wants to act out at other people but at one point or another we all have.
Whatever the case it's not acceptable to treat people that way and terminating the transaction is a perfectly reasonable response.
