![]() Then was the tank and sump, (not really in that order..)
The sump was an old fiberglass vat that I had for curing live rock a few years back, it needed some heavy work to make it suitable for the new tank. I had to repair all the old bulkhead holes, and sand gelcoats off for the areas that needed baffles. It is 370 gallons. Sanded...excuse the dust on the camera lense ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Then, backing for glassing the baffles in, after waxing it up for later removal. ![]() then slid back for next baffle... ![]() Beefin it up abit & patchin holes. ![]() ![]() Applying internal baffles to steer water over a central point where the heaters were intended to be (still havent placed them there..lol.) ![]() Then i applied a few more coats of resins and final coats with gel, and then came a bigger fiberglass project....the tank. ...

![]() is the plywood in the sump just as a template for the fibreglass baffles? in the last picture it looks as though the wood is removed.
