Looking good colin
Is that a flasher wrasse in there (not the 5 bar ,the other one in the last page).
I was told you have to have a couple of females with them or they eventually loose their coloration.
Is that 5 bar Wrasse really agressive?
Jason

sorry about that jason, i thought they were 2 different fish. then yes it is a 5 bar. no there is not aggression from him. he was a little weary of the whipfin when i put him in but that only lasted the first day. i will have to research more on the female situation that you were talking about. i've never heard that before. i hope he doesnt lose the color

i installed my calcium reactor today, i've had it for about 3 months but never hooked it up. i believe it is a marinetech dual chamber (jason correct me if i'm wrong), i'm using a eheim 1262 pump for supply. i started with a 1 drop effluent to 4 bubble co2 per min. this is the first reactor i've hooked up so if you think this rate is no good please let me know. i'm kind of teaching myself how to do this. i finally got a picture of the profilux and how i mounted it. please dont look at the wiring in behind, i had started to clean it up but now that they are replacing the profilux powerbars i'm going to wait until i get them. checked my CA today 425 alk 10kh and mg 1430. about 5 days ago i check my calcium it was 450 and i'm amazed at with little amount of sps i have how quickly the calcium is being used.

here is the 3 fan assembly i bought. this little unit is amazing. at night my tank gets down to about 80 degrees give or take a little and during the day it was hitting 85.1 so i went and go one of these. i'm waiting to get the 'y' adapter to hook the controller to the profilux but for now i turn it on with the lighting. the tank temp now only hits about 83.8. i'm a little worried though because my photoperiod so far is only 7.5 hours and i'm hoping that when i increase it the temp will not as well. i cannot fit the large fan assembly in my sump area. if it does get worse i'll have to install something on the canopy
