![]() Been a while since I posted any pictures of anything so here goes..
Both carpets are S. gigantea, the green I've had since 2005, and the purple since May. The purple was tiny at purchase time but has been growing. Not too fast luckily as there's not a lot of space in the tank they're in. The female ocellaris is around 7 years I think. Actually maybe even older now that I think about it. I've lost track. She was initially the male of a previous pairing I had, but the female was lost to carpet surfing. With the exception of the carpets this tank, in fact, causes me a lot of grief and headaches. I keep it running because I have nowhere else to put these guys until the big tank is ready. That project will be done .. well, maybe never. I don't know. I don't want to talk about that one, it's neither here nor there. Until something gives though I limp my two other tanks along in the meantime. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Here also are some videos I took tonight as well. The tank actually has only about half flow right now as I've turned off two of the powerheads to help acclimate a new addition, a sargassum filefish whom I'm hoping will help with the abundance of aiptasia. Yeah, notice how lovely they undulate in the current too ... there's another topic I don't want to talk too much about. Stupid aiptasia. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Thanks for looking, hope you enjoy.

![]() Wow Tony, aiptasia aside, the tank looks great. If you hadn't mentioned them flowing in the breeze I wouldn't have even noticed them.
man clownfish and anemones crack me up. they just have such determined looks on their faces while they wiggle their butts into their anemones.

I'll gladly take the gigantea's and fish off your hands until your project is done. LOL ![]() I love you anemone's Tony! I'm going to have to find myself a healthy gigantea one of these days.
