My Instant Ocean pales have never come close to those Mg levels, so I'd take that chart with a grain of salt.

Just about every pail I have used of instant ocean has those numbers. It might not be the best salt around, but I have found them to be consistant the last couple years.

My mag is just a bit lower than whats listed on the chart, but all the other number are bang on when salinity is at 1.026 or 35ppm. Make sure you are using a refractor for checking the salinity level or it might not be accurate and of course it will vary according to salinity level.

sort of interesting seeing the relationship between Ca and Mg right out of the pail (i.e. salts with low Ca, low Mg).

I have found that the boxes of IO Reef Crystals is lower in everything compared to the pails.
