Default My new water box

Well I guess I should start a new build/move/upgrade thread. Upgrading from a 120g to a 168g 48"w x 30"d x 27"h. It has a 40g sump and a 20g ATO tank, ER180 3L zeo reactor, 1L carbon reactor, mag18 return, 2x vortech MP40W, 2x K4, 1 K3, external overflow with 2 x 1-1/2" drain lines, euro braced, black silicone, 2 x 1" return holes drilled in the top side's, black acrylic back. I estimate the true volume to be about 150g.

So far I have 2 casualties, my purple milli, thats due to the fact that my nem sat on it all night and stung the crap out of it...... 1 scooter blenny, and that is due to the fact he buried himself in the sand and he was MIA during the move and i found him when i took the garden hose to the old tank to clean it up. I still have to do some minor stuff, trim, fan grills, and more pics as my camera died. The corals have been placed from the big mass on the right side. I will get some close ups some time this week. So anyway here is some pics of the new tank

Stand, double 2x6 around the top, 3 2x4 for each leg, 3/4" ply top and bottom.

Well i started the stand about a month ago. Tank got here last week...??? Filled her up this week, took about 4 days just to get it circulating and i brought over about 100g from the old tank. Treated my LR while i had it out, because of the flat worm epidemic here in cowtown. Pitched most of the water that i made all week and the bucket of salt that was in it .

Thanks Lawrence, it doesn't look it but the rock work is really open underneath and i tried to keep it open at the top or my tangs once they get bigger and the coral starts to take off. I guess you will just have to keep up with the jones's once you get the seahorse operation/frag tank going you will have a pretty sweet set up going. BTW how IS that coming along?

Tyson, its not even fully expanded in that pic, its close to 16" when its fully out

I will have some close ups up this weekend as i will have my buddies camera at my disposal, and it takes sweet pics.
