Hey Brad! Welcome!!

Currently I'm using Tailored Aquatics supplements: Potassium, Iodide, Iron and Strontium and my tank has never looked better (yes I know that sounds cheesy but its true!).

Oh and the nitrate destroyer kicks arse!

i used the no-no3 stuff which looks like a similar thing and it worked well but since it would be for 300g of water id have to set up something to make it less of a pain, at least it comes in a large size so i might give it a try.

Yeah I found in my tank it took about 3 weeks before I saw results but it really laid waste to the nitrate after that. I see he's got a graph on his site now so you can see what to expect. I've never tried any other nitrate reducing products so I can't really compare but I was pretty impressed with this stuff.

This product just looks like vodka/other carbon sources in a marketed form. No offence intended.

No offense taken at all, Yes there are a few other carbon sources on the market i'm sure. Just as there a are few Calcium Products on the market but I a sure you there is no vodka in this...so NO shot for the tank and then a shot for yourself.

I also used the Nitrate Destroyer and HOLY COW!!!!!!!!!! It was amazing...now my levels are excellent whereas before they were the darkest pink you could get on the chart. Have also used several other of Brads products and they work soooo well! Big thumbs up!
