Default Umm, what's this?

I just noticed this today...

What is that on my jawfish - it doesn't look good...

I'd say he probably got too close to the rock or tried to squeeze into a space where he didn't quite fit. Likely it should heal in a few days, my wrasse gets that from time to time (mostly from being an idiot ). Keep an eye on it in case it gets any worse but I would imagine it will heal up quickly

I don't know about that. Looks like Scale circles. Your tank might have gotten invaded by tiny aliens and they are planning landing zones on your fish.
I would watch for red blinking lights tonight.

So we're are saying it not anything serious that could infect everything and kill my tank - or will the green men do that?

photos kind of blurry, looks all most like a bacterial infection, not contagious but keep an eye on it.

I'll try to get a better one today - he's a shifty little bugger.

If it is a bacterial infection, what can I do aside watch and wait?

Thanks everyone.
