Default 65 gallon gauging interest

Just wondering if I could get enough to recoup the cost of a different setup that I've had my eye on. Let me know if interested or if my price is way out to lunch. This is a show tank that could fit into any decore'.

65 gallon 36x18x24" (perfecto I think, w/black silicon)
Glass center brace (instead of black plastic)
1.5" overflow.
25 Gallon DIY sump.
Custom Majestic Aquarium stand (taller)
Custom Majestic Aquarium Canopy (taller, w/ removable front panel for easy access)

Would not be selling livestock or lighting.

How does $600.00 sound?

Not that much bigger. I don't want to upgrade any of my lighting. I'm just looking for more depth than the current 18". Like 36x24 or 36x36 would be even better.

Why you got something?

I know you aren't selling your lighting, but what kind of lighting do you have on the tank?

Im asking because my tank (which is 18x18x36) has begun to leak slowly, and I may soon be in the market... I've got a single 250watt iwasaki, plus 2x110 actinics - did you need to go to 400 watt with the deeper tank?

I would only be looking for a tank though, not a stand

No, I think a 250 MH with 110 watt actinics would be plenty of light for a 24" tank. I went with 400 watts because originally I didn't want to use actinics, so I needed a bit more light. Now that I have them, I realize what I was missing. Actinics Rule!

So much for posting tommorrow, sorry.

The sump is a standard 25 gallon tank with baffles added. 30x12x16". Not much to look at but serves the purpose well.

The stand as I said before is custom from Majestic. Fits 36x18" tanks, but is 40" tall. I used to have a 30" becket skimmer and it fit under the stand quite well.

The canopy was built custom as well for added space. It is 14" tall (above the tank) and opens from the top and front for full access.

For those not familiar with Majestic stands they are very well built, with 2x4 framing. They also use coat after coat of finish to ensure that they are water safe.

thanks,

Danny
