Default Photo Of The Month Contest?

I was over on Nano-Reef.com and saw they have a Photo of the month contest.
http://www.nano-reef.com/gallery/sho...ry.php?cat=516
I was thinking maybe we should start one up and then make a sticky thread at the top of the photo forum to record the winners for prosperity

Thats a great idea. It could be catagorized, or even just pics of anything and everything.

Hehe. I have an entry in there. I'm tied for second. Only a few hours left to vote.

I'm buying a new camera to replace my old one. I'm getting the small compact Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ1 (10X Optical Zoom w/ Image Stabilization, fits in your pocket). Only around $300US.

That is a good idea! I think it should be in categories.. ie: SPS, LPS, Anemones, bla bla bla....

Sam, I'm going to vote for your picture right now One more vote for you.

I will have to order my Nikon D70s right away!

Then maybe in six months when I know how to use it, I can submit a picture!

If you are ordering from McBains you better do so asap as I believe today is the last day of "Nikon Month".

Too expensive at McBain, for the price of the camera & 18-70mm lense at McBain I can get the following through an e-bay store that ships to Canada:

D70s Camera
18-70mm lense
70-300mm lense
4gb microdrive
Full sized tripod
0.4x wide lense
3 lense filters
hard carrying case
soft carrying case

I did go to McBain to help me decide between the Rebel XT & D70s, the D70s felt better in my hands.

So that tells you even on sale, McBain is making a killing at $1300 for the camera & kit lense.

I think I'll buy mine here.
