Anyone safely keep clams with flame angels ?

For a while, then the temptation of it was too much. He nipped at it so much I had to remove him.

I've got a bi-colored angel that doesn't even look at my clam. Flames and all dwarf angels are 50/50 with inverts.

I have large and small Angels in both of my tanks and they have never bothed the Clams.

The flame angel is the worst reef fish I have ever had. Ate, Nipped and chased everything. Trying to get him out of my tank was a huge project. Then once out,he lived in another tank with my eels, for a while...

The coral beauty I had never nipped anything. Like it was mentioned, its 50/50.
