Default Do feather dusters squirt?

So, I have what up until now I've assumed to be a purple feather duster tucked away in a little corner. Never paid too much attention to it, as I assumed it to be yet another duster. I got a new little LED flash light and took it to the tank tonight to see if I could find any new nocturnal life and I was shining it around said purple duster and suddenly a cloud of 'ink' came squirting out of the corner where it hangs out. I've never seen any other dusters do this, and as such am starting to rethink what it may be... any ideas?
