Default micro bubbles

My tank has been up for four months now and i had this problem before and then it went away for a few weeks and now it is back. What may be the cause of this. Thanks

Need more info about your system, types of power heads, sump specs ect. Then we can advise.

Default specs:

46 Gal bowfront tank
CPR overflow
Mag 5 return pump
10 gal sump
rio 600 for circulation
60 pounds live rock
i have a filter sock over the sump exaust to take out some bubbles


I hope this is enough info.

Does your sump have baffles or live rock in it? These will cut down on micro bubbles, you might also consider adding a course types of filter foam around your return pump to further eliminate bubbles. One more thing, be sure your return plumbing is submerged. (in tank)
