Default i got crabs

Hey got a question I just dug a crab out of my reef its huge How do I know if it is a bad one? it has not killed any of my fish or corals. It is a brown one with normal crab looking claws wide fat ones. anyone know any web sites that I could look at to try id this thing

I moved this then I saw some one else moved it

Also, just an FYI, you don't really have to post the same topic 3 times in 3 different places. The forum is usually small enough that everyone usually sees all the posts anyway. If you still can't ID the crab, maybe post a picture of it and we'll be able to give you more help.

thanks, if you goto that link it looks like the crab that you see first as you scroll down his legs a slightly hairy

Usually, pointy claws are bad, and wide big claws are ok.

Not too familiar with shrimps as I don't have any. I only know of coral banded and peppermints shrimps are good cleaners.
Oh and mantis shrimps are bad.

its claws are wide and fat so you think it might be safe for the reef and my fish
