I was dealing with this a while ago as well.....simply get rid of the corals that are the least rare or attractive. If a bigger tank isnt an option than this is really the only option.

Ya, unfortunately the few I have no problem getting rid of are in bad spots anyway, and damn near impossible to remove. (encrusted over a 4" area). I guess one should really have the outgoing coral in mind before buying the new one, eh?
Although, with the way the Queen Angel is going today, she might solve the problem for me!!

How in the works do you catch a fish in a tank so stuffed with sps? I would think after a catch like that you would have dozens of frags on the sandbed.

3x50g drums, a couple of 2" hoses. Drain the tank, pick up fish, fill tank. Takes about 10 minutes. Like a big water change

you could be like me, have sporadic success, that way the frags fit in nicely where the dead colonies were. I'll be down to a single frag rack soon.

Only 10 frags brad??

I have 3 frag racks full of sps I wanna keep and no where to put them... Bigger tank is not an option otherwise I would've got a big tank last year.

I am in a serious dellima....
