Do I see blue sky in the pics?! I'm glad the weather has cleared up for you
Keep us updated on your awesome dives and what you see when you have time. Don't worry about Canreef while you're away, people have been behaving'ish

Are you gonna be doing any fluorodiving? Looking forward to the vids when you get back

Enjoy!

I did a few nights ago! One of the guys in our group has the light and mask. It's pretty cool - like the whole reef with actinic only!!! The tube anemones are unreal under fluoro!

Today I hired a videographer to follow me around on my first dive....STUNNING DIVE. Was a great site just covered in Dendronepthea at 80 - 110 feet. He followed my group on a wreck dive too. I'll post the vid when I get back.

This afternoon I saw Blue Spot Sting rays, Pigmy seahorse, dragon pipefish, banded pipefish...a sweet bright red Yuma. Some beautiful Acros too...amazing diving here.

Here's a link to the above mentioned video. Beautiful Dendronepthea. The first half of the dive is around 50-70 ft and the last half of the dive is 80-100 ft. It contains no stock video, it's all live edited.

Yes it was awesome! I just downloaded my dive computer and see that I did exactly 30 dives in 10 days. I have a few more videos to upload but they take over 2 hours to upload to YouTube.

Anyone notice the one guy not blowing any bubbles?

The weather was beautiful. We only got about 10 drops of rain the whole time. Right around the full moon there was some really rough waters. One of those days were went out to Verde Island and were doing negative entry because of the 4-6 ft waves. That was our second Verde trip. The first trip surprised us with some REALLY strong currents - a wall dive with a 10 knot current. It was exhilarating! I hit a down current that took me from 32 feet to 65 feet in just a few seconds. It was a heck of ride for only a 22 min dive.

Nice video Mindy. Looks like you had a blast.

Yes February have some rough waters, March to May are the best time when the waters are calm, however i'm not sure if you will enjoy a hot and humid +40deg weather.

Thanks for sharing.
