![]() Way overkill. If you want to add some more "under toe" to your tank, you can add an MP10 and you'll have way more flow that you need.

![]() So the MP40 makes a decent change in flow and noise.. but how about the MP10?
Is there a big difference in noise in the MP10ES vs the MP10QD? Im testing out a MP10WES right now and i find the whirl sound of the dry side to be noticeably loud from a few feet away..

![]() The MP10 is quietened further with the upgrade of the MP10-QD driver this is the only component that needs to be changed from MP10ES(or W) to MP10QD

It is now barely audible. I mean it too. I know a lot of people say their MP10 is quiet, but mine was loud (I have gone through three of them, and all sounded the same) The QD isn't a gimmick, I say go for it, if the current noise bothers you.
