Why? Yours is brand new. If you want to quiet it down you should look at upgrading the driver.

No pricing on parts yet. We will announce it when it becomes available.

Thanks,

Somebody from ecotech testing team said it would be around 100 dollars https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hMg8S2al1qQ
I can live with a hundred dollars and the four decimals
The numbers don't add up though. It is not 90% queiter its not even 50% quiter look at the video's numbers.
And the 40% srtonger is a lie too. The extra 600 gallons per hour on a pump that already does 3900 gallons per hour is not 40%
This whole thing is nothing but lies and hype to get you to buy the pump.

Oh I was wrong the mp40 only makes 3200

Yeah, I think you misread the specs.

Changing just the driver will not decrease the sound by 90%, it greatly reduces noise but not by 90%. The 90% decrease in sound is when comparing am MP40wES to the new MP40wQD as a complete assembly.

As for flow rates. The MP40wES pumps out 3200 VS 4500 GPH for the new MP40wQD.

Please let us know if you have any further questions.

thanks,

Ray

to help people put things into perspective, I've always considered 3 db to be "twice as loud" in a physics terms, however 9db should be considered twice as loud to the human ear and not forces
