![]() Try flushing out the membrane by removing the Cartrage unit and hooking it up backwards. I couldn't believe the crap that came out of mine and it started working like new again.

![]() Yeah, probably is, if it's working then you shouldn't get much buildup. Depends on your source water though, what's your source TDS?

![]() source is usually between 13 and 20. I haven't had the auto-flush plugged in in awhile so it would have helped to have that plugged in (cord wasn't long enough) but its had a pretty good run of 3 years. I need to change the DI (on order) before I can confirm that I need a new membrane but it seems likely that its the membrane just based on time alone.
