I dose my alkalinity solution at 1am as pH typically drops during lights out and then the calcium at 11am. At the moment I dose about 25ml per day into the return section of my sump. The return pump sucks it up pretty quick and disperses it into the display tank.

Thanks for the input guys, just going to start it all up today and I planned on 30ml a day of both ca & alk to start and adjust accordingly every few days to get levels ca of 450 and alk of around 8. I plan on tweeking my mg level when I do my water changes to try and keep it about 1350ish. Am I on the right track guys, comments welcomed

Hey! I never "LEFT" the hobby, just doing fresh water now. Which is still listed as part of Canreef if I'm not mistaken.

I dose both at the same time, every ½ hour. They drip about 2 ft apart. The alkalinity nozzle gets rinsed every time the ATO comes on and it drips above one of the power heads that I have in the sump.
