I like using dropbox to interchange pictures (I used a windows laptop, android cellphone and ipad...got all the bases covered
 ); seamless and effortless. I don't know whether apple has overcome their ego of being connected to other platforms using bluetooth but with all the options out there, it doesn't matter anyways.And replacing screens are fairly cheap too. Kijiiji has lots of adds and typically, stores in NE can do this at a very low price. Or if you are up for some DIY, you can always order yours from ebay; they generally comes with the kit you need to DIY.
