What benefits would 2 WP25 do instead of 1 WP40? Is it better directed flow? I'm planning to upgrade to a 120g 5' tank once I get a few more paychecks from my new job. Went with 75g for my first tank mainly cuz I knew absolutely nth of saltwater tanks n was a broke student=P. now I wanna get those awesome sailfin or maybe hippo tangs!!

Well than get 2 WP40s
I'm not sure if they sync or antisync together like the Vortechs. More flow and different random flow patterns are easier to accomplish with 2 units.

They can be, although I haven't done it yet, but easiest way is to get the reef angel cables for controlling the WP wavemakers with reef angel and patch those cords into the 0-10v cord for the apex. There is a built in resistor I think it is in the reef angel cable to turn the 0-10v signal to 0-5v which is what the WP requires to be controlled.

I have cables here, just haven't had time to do the modification myself yet =)

True. it is a 0-5v.
I have 4 wp25's wired into my profilux.

How much do the controllers cost and what exactly do they do?

Jason I have two WP 25 on my 120 and I have to keep them dialed down to almost the lowest settings. Personally I would do two 25 rather then one 40.
