looks good to me. Only thing id change is making one structure slightly taller then the other for a more asymmetrical look. The lack of symmetry would imo bring more symmetry if that makes sense.

I plan on "sculpting" the islands into different shapes with the placement of corals, and yes I agree one island should look taller. I hope to achieve that with the proper placement of corals.

So I am contemplating on going a different direction with my lights over this tank. I am thinking about swapping out the 48" tek elite 8 bulb for leds. What would you put over this tank in regards to leds?
