![]() I got my two fridges in place this weekend. The plan was to get proper front vented ones so they could be built in but unfortunately the choices came down to a lower priced Danby unit which was still over a $1000 a piece for a compressor that would likely fail after a year or better models for $1500-$2000+ a piece. Luckily we found a standard non-front vented Frigidaire model that only required 2" of clearance (most others are 5" +) which is something I can live with.
Next issue was they looked like this ![]() Stainless steel isn't really something that fits in our house or our bar plans and these fridges don't have optional wood door kits. So I took upon myself to remove all the stainless and fit a wood frame in it's place. ![]() Routered the outside edge to be flush with the door, a little stain and two custom fridges in place for less than a $1000 combined. ![]() ![]() They'll look built in once I trim around them. |
