I will try to get a par meter and do that although the par meter and leds don't seem to jive the readings are a little miss leading.
As for a side by side comparison now that I have the controller (which is ok at best) the vega's are very close in brightness using my eye meter. I find the Radions have less of the disco ball effect but only noticeable if you are looking for it. I have seen a great deal of growth in all my corals under both lights and with the right amount of tweaking the corals and fish pop under both lights. I think at this point both of these lights are very comparable, and both ways of setting them up leave a lot to be desired.
