Ya, to me that looks like the same coral just lighter either from white balance or higher light. Either way, it's the same species from what I can tell.

I've actually been sitting all weekend comparing these reef raft pics with some of the pics of the frags that are available throught he reef raft group order. Some of them look SO close to the ReefRaftUSA corals, but the pictures we were sent suck a bit so it's a bit tough to tell.

I'll put it this way...all the pics (even rrusa) are taken by Jay in canada. If they were the same...he would have gave you the same pic and told you the name. At least that only makes sense to me.

Dave, the LED are ok, in that they retained most of my coral's colors. Some went downhill...my efflo which was purple on green is now grey on grey. My pink and blue milli is now my nice blue milli. A couple others lost a bit of bang, although I just nuked my tank with pesticides, so not a good week to be judging colors -lol
Overall, if you have Radiums and no GOOD (cost, evaporation, etc) reason to switch them out, I'd stick with them.

My final decision was in in 3 weeks. I had to go LED for evaporation reasons, so gotta live with it, but I miss my Radiums The vertex may offer better quality light, so hopefully you get different results.
I've got my alk a bit low too, so I'm trying to bump that a bit, but that still won't bring back the lost colors, just a bit of the pop.

what's up with that? try hooking up your RO/DI directly to the sump with kent a solenoid and a float switch kit.....has worked for me since 2003
