Sorry to hear about your situation Kevin. I can't imagine walking through the doors of the store the next morning. This is always my greatest fear for LFS (that and people pouring toxins in the tanks). I don't understand why people would hurt and kill innocent animals like this. My heart goes out to you and everyone involved with your store.

Omg this blows. I love Red Coral. In addition to all of the great people, the store is the safest in the city to bring younger children into.

Count on another volunteer here, too! (maybe two or three, even)

"Sweat equity" can go a long way in an insurance claim.
