![]() Wow you were quick, it was only up less than a minute. Sorry after I posted I realized that was a Cali tort. They were fairly similar. I'll find a shot for you.

![]() Ok here is a shot of my colony of Purple Cross first in Jan 2008 & again in June 2009. I got a 1" frag from Jamie back in 06 I think.
![]() ![]() I believe the "purple cross" to be A.austera.

![]() Probably my favorite coral I had from Jamie but lost years ago was the "bubble gum" acro. I'd love to find a piece of that one if you have one or know anybody.

Nope, haven't seen that in forever. Last person I knew that had it was Marc. It was rather prolific though, so should be around the Vancouver area somewhere. It was more temp sensitive than most pieces. I had about 10 pieces years ago that all RTN'ed on a really hot day. Everything else was fine, just that species...poof ![]()

![]() That's what I was thinking just by looking at the pictures. If it is indeed Austera, it shouldn't be too tough to color up - although I've found Austera to be CRAZY awesome in medium nutrient tanks (rather than low nutrient or ULNS).
You still have this piece Greg? Maybe I'll order one from you and try my hand...I have medium light (at best) and medium nutrients. ![]() |
