Glad the move went as planned so far! That light holder is pretty spiffy how's the sag? I was thinking if it did have a little you could apply an angled metal edge on front and back to give it some stiffness. Just use some L shaped pieces with the one side of the L under the holder...

Agreed. I thought of building something very similar, but alas, I am NOT a finishing carpenter.

Doug take what you've done with the light rack and slap it onto the side of your stand. But rather that insert radions into the side of your tank you could toss these things called doors over the holes

I cant really afford Radions either.....thats why it took so long for me to get things together for this tank....and I even have friends in high places and got a discount.....Im happy with my choice so far.....I think the four of them will be enough

thanks Brett......didnt yo Mama ever tell you, it's not polite to ask a guy about his "sag".....It does sag slightly, like maybe a 1/4"....not enough that Im gonna worry about it.....I made this one out pine, so Im sure that it will warp and twist....I used pine cuz its cheap....I didnt want to spend a lot of mulah on something when I wasnt sure if four Radions was gonna be enough for the tank....if I decide to stick with four I may either make another one out of maple or get Grizz to fabricate one out of metal....

Thanks Brad.....I literally threw it together in about a 1/2 hour...the painting is what took the time
