They aren't cheap but they are made specifically for the APEX. You can't get a repeater in the line or it will blow the APEX. I'm in the same dilemma, but rather than find that long cable, I'm repositioning my head unit to see what I can do with it first.

![]() Really, a USB cable is pretty simple -- just take a a single short Usb, cut it, and insert a 50' length of Cat 6 STP or even some cheap cat5e cable?
Should only cost about $10 or so to make up (you could just by the SB ends and put them on 50' of four condutor wire (cat 5 would be cheapest). |
