Could be a difference in flow causing this.

Yep, i have my maxima clam on the sand and he's looking great. Under AI Sols. Great LED lights by the way.

I also had the same thing going on. Little bugger would jump off all the rocks that I put him on. I have a crocea clam, so one day I left him in the sand and found that he moved about 4 inches one way in a couple days and hasn't moved since. However, he is anchored to the glass now as I didn't put anything under him so there he will stay.
