![]() 1000 bucks is way too much. I saw a marble clam at the seamax show for 350 and I thought that was too much, but I guess its supply and demand. If there are guys out there paying 3500 for a red arowana, there bound to be some one out there who is willing to fork out a g-note for it. Just not me. I rather buy equipment.

![]() It's pretty.. But I've lost too many $65 clams to even THINK of spending that kind of money on a clam that with my luck will end uo being a pretty white empty shell on my shelf 3 months later.

![]() Chances are it won't stay like that as it matures. I had a clam a few years ago that had different designs on each side but as it grew it sorted itself out and ended up having the same basic design on both sides although it was completely different than either of the sides were originally.
