![]() Have you removed the bottom filter? Removed mine and replaced with a TLF foam which seems to have improved the flow. I haven't removed the top one yet.

![]() No I haven't. How do you remove it?
The TLF foam is not dense though, won't the HC GFO fall right through?

![]() I just peeled it off and I used the supplied foam one with the TLF one. I have been running it with MJ400 but looking to upgrade to the 1200 for more flow.

![]() So I removed the bottom filter in each carriage, and put some blue foam I had leftover. Big difference, now the flow is as how it should be.
But new problem. Water is seeping out of the heavy duty lids :S I made sure there was no media in the threading, and I also wrapped the threads with 3 layers of Teflon tape. I put some paper towel under each canister, and by the next day the paper towels were both soaked. I've since put each canister in a plastic container, and after a few days, the containers have a noticeable buildup of water. I screwed them on pretty tight already, but still hand tight. ???

![]() check for cracks... they are only plastic and a they could develop a hairline cracks from over tightening.
