does the reactor flow properly without the cartridge installed?
the BRS cartridge should fit just fine, I have several cartridges and there are a couple different bottoms but the all interchange.
that type of cartridge is usually used in rodi systems which are high pressure low flow, i think the BRS media reactor cartridge is designed for low pressure high flow, so make sure you get the media reactor cartridge.

Yes I tried unscrewing the lid and holding it over my sump, and the water goes right into it.

I emailed BRS to ask if it was compatible with HC GFO and they said yes.

Have you removed the bottom filter? Removed mine and replaced with a TLF foam which seems to have improved the flow. I haven't removed the top one yet.

No I haven't. How do you remove it?

The TLF foam is not dense though, won't the HC GFO fall right through?

I just peeled it off and I used the supplied foam one with the TLF one. I have been running it with MJ400 but looking to upgrade to the 1200 for more flow.

How much HC GFO do you have in there?

Not using the HC GFO just the regular GFO from Eli. It is about 3/4 full.
