![]() It should be possible using the same technique as glass drilling. Glass drill bits don't have a guide. Start by holding the whole saw bit on an angle and grooving the barrel about 1/4" from the original hole. Slowly straighten the drill using the grove as the guide.

![]() got it working. I drill the guide on wood and then put it against the barrel with my two feets, the barrel is against the wall for leverage and slowly drill over top of the original hole.
