Christy: That photo is about 8-9 years old which is why you dont see those ultras anymore. Also the country where they came from no longer allows the export of wild clams.
Apexifd: I sold them to a friend and there was a power failure/heat wave while he was away for the weekend... nuff said. Paddyob: I would never eat a clam but live Crocea with fresh lime is a delicacy in some places. Sometimes when the collector is chiseling a crocea out of the reef flat the shell will get cracked. That's why they always brought limes when they went clam collecting. Have an accident and get a free snack out of it.  |
