Subscribing to this thread makes me realize more than ever that every choice and decision regarding my career, finances, and hobbies has been the complete exact opposite of what I SHOULD have chosen.

Some nice rides in here ... sure looks like a lot of fun is being had out there in the world.

I just picked up a 1980 VW rabbit that I'm starting on the road to restoration with. I'm currently starting under the hood, and then working towards her body work. I call her Hop Hop.

rest in peace my 89' 240sx. I miss this car everyday. I owe the death of my sleeper to a brainless 19 year old

here are some pics

the engine bay ... not pictured is the voltage stabilizer, the bottom mounted garret t28 or the GT spec Apexi exhaust.

the specs were rather typical for this car
Engine: SR20DET red top upgraded ... mostly everything.
t28 turbo, BOV, turbotimer / boost controller, alt, M-type intercooler, full aluminum rad, high temp tubing, and so on.

Stance coils, 5-zigens, powerslot cryo rotors, hawk HPS pads, Kumho supra rubber, VLSD, all that fun stuff

Pretty good guess Murray.

Its a 67 1600 and the holes you are referring to are for stock fogs.
Body looks pretty good from further away but up close it shows its age. The mechanicals are super though with a lot of new parts.
