Nice score Dave. He/she is a beauty. Wifey is happy I bet. Hard to believe Frenchie is afraid of it; could gulp it down in one bite.

Yes she is pleased, I was concerned how the addition would make out after the gongshow when I added the trigger, so when I put this guy in I fed the tank at one end and added him at the other end, he immediately went over and chased everyone away from the food, sure has made the whole tank more lively.

Thanks, pretty happy with this tank, seriously considering shutting down the small tank though, only thing stopping me is my bubble coral, had that one too long to part with.

Must be nice to be able to call a 300g a small tank. How come you're considering shutting down the reef?

Partly the last hydro bill but mostly not happy with how it has progressed over the last year, seems to be one problem after another, have a battle on with red turf algea now, that stuff is a real PITA. Seems I am constantly fighting the reef yet the FOWLR only needs food and every couple weeks wipe it down, no dying corals, no pest algea, no expensive equipment that seems to break as soon as I leave the house etc etc etc. Rant over, I'm going to drink a bottle of 20 year old scotch before it goes bad Next time Marie starts talking bigger tank I'll give her the deal of the decade.
