What is this thing?

This thing grew from a piece of live rock. An aglae of some type for sure. But is it a weed or is it a valuable addition to the tank. What can it be?

Weed or not?
Yes, it is kinda cute. It may be an algae weed but it sure as heck looks better than red slime and other stuff that came free with my live rock.
