I've done this twice before, I got everything I needed from Home Depot.
I used a Y splitter with built in valves on the faucet/valve which I got from the garden hose section. The laundry hose attached to the one side as before. On the other side I used a 3/4" x 1/2" pvc threaded bushing from the PVC plumbing department. Then I used a plastic 1/2" thread to 1/4" loc (for RO line) fitting which was in another isle next to the PVC plumbing with all the small brass fittings and such. Don't forget the Teflon. Worked great. |
