76-78 is what mine stays at. once i unplugged my heater and my tank went down to 69 before i realized it over 2 days. brought it back up to 77 and all was good.

79.5 It almost never fluctuates.

Got down to 74 the other day with the wind storm and power outages. Normally 79 to 82.
