78 to 79F

One time I had a faulty glass thermometer that showed my temperature as -6F of what the REAL temp was. ie; it would display 80, but water was really 86F

Advice for everyone to check and see if your thermometer is actually accurate

I hear ya, great advice, I've had the same thing happen, now I have 3 thermometers (2 in the tank- 1 digital, 1 old school- and 1 in the sump) to make sure the temp is accurate.
