Even though you looked through all the rock, I would be UBER hesitant to put any of it back in the tank!! There HAS to be some sort of critter lurking...you said you saw something drag your Fire shrimp in a hole? What did it look like?

No i havent found it yet but will be setting a trap tonight. got a great crab trap the other day. i uncertain it it will go back or not at this point its just what im hoping to be able to use. privided the monthe i have to find something ( while new rock cycles) goes well. never actually saw the culprit but the front half of the shrimp, clogging the opening.

Restocking options
Well for the last couple of days i have been trying to figure ut what and how many fish i want to add to the rsm. i will be adding my elbli angel and 6 line as they have survived.
so far im thinking of adding a red lipped blenny and a rainsford goby. i also thinking maybe a pair of clown gobies. wondering what people would think is a good biio load. alos wondering what fish people would recomend for such a tank. this will be a reef agin so it has to be reef friendly. IF ONE ADDS GOOD LR TO A TANK THAT IS CYCLEING WILL THIS ROCK CYCLE AS WELL AS KILL ANY THING LIVING IN IT. WOULD THIS BE A GOOD METHOD FOR REUSING SOME OF MY ROCK?
