How do you get that to work? I've 1 vortech in my 90 but cannot do waves.. I just use the reef crest mode myself. I've tried the wave setting but without a second vortech I didn't think it would work... well you sort of can but it's just a bit of a wave surge in the direction away from the pump.

![]() I find there's tanks with waves that look amazing, and tanks with waves that look so terrible. I think it's best when the waves are slow and gentle, just moving the corals back and forth, with enough time to fully sway forward and back. Most I see are so rough and rigid, moving the coral back and forth really fast and aggressively.
