Ok here is an old one from Oct 13 last year, had it as a backgound on my laptop. The coral are 2-3 times bigger now.

Your room looks REALLY inviting Doug - like a perfect spot to kick back with a cold beverage.

Is that a giant Pike on the wall?

Default tank pics

Hello, just thought I'd add a picture of my 100 gallon lit by 2-175 watt, 20,000 K bulbs and 2 actinics. Sorry about the tripod reflection!

Ian

Default my tank info

Ok, the tank has been up since August 2002 and has a wet/dry filter underneath, a Seaclone 150 skimmer in the tank as well as an old Amiracle airstone skimmer in the wet/dry sump. I do a 10-15% water change every two weeks and add iodine every Sunday as well as Kent liquid calcium everyday, and when I remember, Kent liquid Pro-buffer. I seem to have pretty amazing growth on most of my corals, although I really have nothing to compare it to! Some corals are just getting way too big, way too fast like an Umbrella leather that Wendell now has, the Pearl bubble coral that is huge, and a Toadstool leather that I fragged and are still for sale. I'm really starting to appreciate hard corals like the Montipora Digitata I got at the Reef meeting that has grown about an inch since it went in the tank. Should they be growing faster, I don't know? I should also mention that I rarely test the parameters in my tank, I know, I'm a bad reefer, but everything is doing really well.

Any other questions, let me know. And thanks for the compliments, Ian.

Here is mine. It's a 90 gal.

I used to have a nice blue background that I am really proud of. However, my coraline algae have other idea.

Hi Alan,
Sorry I have been busy lately. Thanks for the comments. It is a great place to have a brewsky and watch the tank.

Yes thats a large pike, caught by my youngest, when we lived in Thompson. Its the only large one we kept in all our years fishing there. Released many that were as large or larger.
