id be more than happy to see it go, back in the 80's it was cool but so was teddy ruckspin and care bears. kids are a little to informed for that junk now. not that im an expert but id rather have dolphins, penguins and polar bears at the front doors of the zoo rather than a mile of pathways and cement dino's but i dont have anything other than rumors to back things up

I know where I am going this weekend....the zoo!

I have to say I would be sad if the dinosaur park was destroyed. I loved that place as a kid, and still find it amusing and entertaining now.

I remember seeing the tank in the elephant/hippo enclosure awhile back. The downside was that there was a lot of precipitation on the outside of the tank when I visited.

My kid is just starting to get into dinosaurs, or "saurs" as he would call them, he's only two. It would be a real shame to get rid of the dinosaur park, but it could definately use some updating. Newer automatronic and physiologically correct dinos would be cool. They should also consider getting all of the water falls and fountains working again. Still, its a cool place for kids to imagine and play.

As for the new display, I can't wait to see it. Hopefully it is met with huge popularity so that it might encourage the zoo to get this long awaited reef display that we've all been waiting for.
